Teen Camp

Cost: $200 per camper to cover the cost of groceries, by cash or check. If you would like to send your child to camp but are not financially able, contact Victory Baptist Church to see if a sponsorship may be available.

Payment Due: Please have at minimum a deposit of $50 paid by July 1. This is to ensure that we have enough time to organize groceries and meal planning! The full amount is due upon arrival at camp. 

Arrival Time: Monday, July 22 between 1-3pm. Rides may be available, contact Victory Baptist Church for availability. Please have campers pack a lunch to eat on the way as the first meal at camp will be at 5:30pm.

Departure Time: Friday, July 26 at noon. Campers will be sent home with a snack lunch.

Bring:

  • Bible
  • Notebook & pen
  • Sleeping bag (nights can be cold)
  • Pillow
  • Towels
  • Personal hygiene items (toothbrush,  toothpaste, floss, soap, shampoo, deodorant, comb/brush. etc.)
  • Swimsuit (one-piece for girls, or a two-piece covered with dark-coloured t-shirt and shorts)
  • Hat and sunscreen
  • Rain gear
  • Bug repellant
  • Flashlight & extra batteries
  • Proper footwear for outdoor rugged terrain
  • Water bottle
  • Snacks are permitted

Do not bring:

  • All electronics/devices
  • Knives
  • Magazines
  • Drugs
  • Cigarettes or vaping units
  • Tight form fitting clothing
  • Shorts/skirts that come more than 4″ above the knee
  • Clothing with offensive and/or objectionable saying or graphics
  • Phones that are brought to camp will be collected
    shortly after arrival and returned upon departure.
    Our desire is to provide an undistracted camp
    experience.

  • Each day will have chapel time with singing and preaching for the spiritual benefit of campers and counsellors alike.

Rules:

  • Respect and obey camp volunteers
  • Treat all volunteers and campers with respect
  • No fighting, swearing, poor sportsmanship, pouting, whining, name calling, or other negative attitudes and actions
  • Boys and girls are never to enter the cabins of the opposite sex or the cabins of the staff
  • No water activities including wading, swimming, fishing, or canoeing except with express permission and supervision by a camp counselor

Campers who will not submit to the rules will be sent home!
